Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael Key will be joining forces with director Henry Selick (The Nightmare Before Christimas, James and Giant Peanch, Coraline) to produce a stop-motion comedy feature called Wendell and Wild.

Speaking with Variety, Selick described the film as “a comedy about two scheming demon brothers who must face their arch-nemesis, the demon-dusting nun Sister Helly, and her two acolytes, the goth teens Kat and Raoul.”

Selick will both direct and produce Wendell and Wild. He will also be co-writing the film with Peele. The famed stop-motion director is also working on a secret project with Coraline author Neil Gaiman and is looking to direct FilmNation’s adaptation of Adam Gidwitz’s A Tale Dark and Grimm. We can’t wait to see what he’ll turn in next, as long as it’s not a sequel to Monkeybone.
