Luke Evans leaves The Crow

Coming as no shock, Luke Evans has officially left the planned The Crow reboot, according to TheWrap. The Welsh actor was set to play Eric Draven, the main protagonist, who is resurrected after being mercilessly killed, but has now left the film to pursue other projects. Remarking on the movie’s current state late last year, Evans reported that he was still on board – barely – but the film itself was in stasis, which had changed multiple directors’ hands. The current director, Corin Hardy, is reported to be meeting with new actors already for the part of Draven, while Evans will next be seen in Ben Wheatley’s High-Rise.
