So far not much has been revealed about Marvel’s upcoming Black Panther movie, but star of the film, Lupita Nyong’o, has now shared some interesting new details about the story.

Nyong’o told Entertainment Weekly at the San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend, that her character, Nakia, is a member of the Black Panther’s elite squad of female bodyguards, the Dora Milaje and she may have a complicated relationship with the squad’s leader, Okoye:

“The story is that the Black Panther’s leadership is being threatened by two foes that come together, so Black Panther gets the help of the CIA and the Dora Milaje to try and defeat the enemy. Oh dear. Someone’s gonna fire me shortly. I have to shut up now.”

THE JUNGLE BOOK - Lupita Nyong'o voices Raksha, a mother wolf who cares deeply for all of her pups—including man-cub Mowgli, whom she adopts as one of her own when he's abandoned in the jungle as an infant. "She is the protector, the eternal mother," says Nyong'o. "The word Raksha actually means protection in Hindi. I felt really connected to that, wanting to protect a son that isn’t originally hers but one she’s taken for her own." Photo by: Sarah Dunn. ©2016 Disney Enterprises, Inc. All Rights Reserved.

Nyong’o posing alongside the character she voiced in Disney’s The Jungle Book.

We know that one of the “two foes,” is Erik Killmonger, played by Michael B. Jordan. The other one is unconfirmed, but it’s likely to be Ulysses Klaw, portrayed by Andy Serkis.
