After a long string of failures, M. Nigh Shyamalan had a surprise success this year with The Visit. Now it’s been announced that Shyamalan’s next horror picture, entitled Split, will hit theaters on January 20, 2017.

IGN says that the film will made in collaboration with Universal Pictuires and Blumhouse Productions. The film is set to star James McAvoy, Anya Taylor Joy, Betty Buckley, Jessica Sula, and Haley Lu Richardson. Producer Marc Bienstock of The Visit is also on board, along with executive producers Ashwin Rajan and Steven Schneider.

What do you think? Will Split continue Shyamalan’s big comeback or will it be another misfire?
