With Jamie Foxx already on board to star in Edgar Wright’s Baby Driver, the director has added a new impressive name to the cast. Behold… Jon Hamm, fresh off winning an Emmy for his turn in Mad Men.
Hamm will take on the role of the villain and former Wall Street trader who has switched gigs to the slightly less illegal trade of bank robbery. But he’s also a mercenary type who kills cops.
Ansel Elgort recently signed up to the film, set to play a talented young getaway driver who puts himself as well as the people he loves at risk after a heist goes wrong. Lily James also stars as a waitress who Elgort falls in love with.
Baby Driver is set for a March 17, 2017 release.
