Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn spinoff is confirmed

It’s been on the cards for a while now but at last Margot Robbie has signed a deal that sees her Harley Quinn spinoff movie confirmed.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Robbie has signed an exclusive first-look deal with Warner Bros. The contract includes two projects, one of which is the Harley Quinn spinoff.

Her other project is an adaptation of Queen to the Air, which she will produce and star in. She is also expected to produce the Harley Quinn spin-off under her LuckyChap Entertainment company.

Recently, we reported that many fans wants to see a lesbian spin-off of her character with Poison Ivy. However, it’s expected that she’ll share the screen with Jared Leto’s The Joker, but after his performance was panned by critics, Warner Bros. and DC may well look at other options.

Many hailed Robbie’s performance in Suicide Squad as one of the standouts and so it’s no surprise to see her spinoff film now confirmed.
