Star Wars actor Mark Hamill has shared an incredible new tribute image of Carrie Fisher’s Leia. Carrie sadly passed away in December and has been sorely missed by everyone. She makes her final Star Wars appearance in The Last Jedi this year, and Hamill who stars alongside her as Luke Skywalker, has posted a new touching tribute to the late actress.

He shared an amazing image on Twitter of Carrie’s character impressively carved out in a field, which he accompanied with a touching quote. See it below:

Many have wondered how Lucasfilm will handle the future of her character. The studio’s President Kathleen Kennedy recently revealed that Leia will not feature in The Last Jedi‘s follow-up film, however it’s also been reported that they are still keeping their options open, but will not take the CGI route.  Fired Episode IX director Colin Trevorrow has said the film will treat her untimely death with “love and respect”. While John Boyega recently stated that Episode 8 “sends her off in a very amazing way.”
