Mark Ruffalo recently sat down with Collider during the press tour for Now You See Me 2, and amid the talk of magic, the actor spoke about Thor: Ragnarok and where Bruce Banner and the Hulk’s relationship is headed in the movie:
‘I think that the arc that he’s ultimately making [is] his relationship with the Hulk and how that’s going to resolve itself… No one’s really gone to that place. He’s always been running from him or trying to deny it, but they’re coming for a collision course with each other, and I think that could be pretty exciting if we could figure out a way to do it, multi-dimensionally… The only thing in the world the Hulk is scared of is Banner.’
As Bruce Banner should be getting more screen time as part of a two-hander in Thor: Ragnarok, instead of as part of an Avengers ensemble, it’s going to be exciting to see how the man operates psychologically with ‘the other guy’.
Thor: Ragnarok is released October 27, 2017 in the UK, and a week later in the US.
