Marvel reportedly wants to cast Tilda Swinton in Doctor Strange movie
Oscar winning actress Tilda Swinton might be set to join Benedict Cumberbatch on Marvel’s Doctor Strange movie. The actress is reportedly in negotiations with the studio to take on the role of Strange’s mystic mentor, the Ancient One.
The character was an elderly Tibetan male in the comics, and Marvel were initially looking to cast an actor in the role according to The Hollywood Reporter, however, before they rethought the role.
Doctor Strange is slated for a 4 November 2016 release in the US.
