Marvel suggests it has creative control over new Spider-Man movie; not Sony

Sony and Marvel may have partnered to bring Spider-Man to Marvel’s cinematic universe, but it’s been unknown as to which studio would have creative control over the newest Spidey flick Spider-Man: Homecoming.

However, it seems Marvel have won that battle, as in an interview with HeyUGuys, the comic book’s president Kevin Feige’s comments suggest that they are calling the creative shots on the film:

“Well, I’ve known all those people [at Sony] for a very long time. Amy Pascal, Tom Rothman, who runs Sony now, I’ve known for years. So, it’s been great,” he explained. “They really are supportive in allowing us to make the creative decisions to make that movie, but they’ve been great partners. So far so good on that movie.”

Tom Holland plays the young web-slinger and you can see him make his debut appearance in Captain America: Civil War on May 6.
