Michael Fassbender says he is “playing two robots” in Alien: Covenant

Michael Fassbender has revealed a big twist regarding his role in Alien: Covenant.

Fassbender who plays synthetic David, told The Irish Times that he will in fact play “two robots” in the upcoming sci-fi saga:

“I am allowed to say I am playing two robots: Walter and David. I think what’s great about it is that [director] Ridley [Scott] has gone back to the original DNA of Alien, the horror element of that.

“But is also has the scope and the scale of Prometheus. Ridley has cut it already. He is a machine. He is an incredible human being, and he was in such good form. He is such an imaginative and mischievous figure.” he said.

It’s been reported that Walter and David have a contentious relationship. With Walter, who is the more advanced synthetic, not liking the older model David.
