Marvel Studios’ and Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man: Homecoming now has a composer in the form of Michael Giacchino, who announced the news this weekend. The acclaimed Giacchino, who has scored such films as Jurassic World, Star Trek and Up, recently signed on to score Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, so is set for another very busy year.
Tom Holland returns as Peter Parker / Spider-Man after his debut in Captain America: Civil War and is joined in the film by fellow Civil War pals Robert Downey Jnr (Tony Stark / Iron Man) and Oscar Winner Marisa Tomei (Aunt May). Jon Watts (Cop Car) directs the film that co-stars Micheal Keaton as Vulture. Jon Favreau returns as Happy Hogan from the Iron Man films.
Spider-Man: Homecoming opens in cinemas on July 7th, 2017.
