Michael K. Williams has been one of our most reliable character actors for over a decade with scene stealing roles like Omar Little in The Wire and Chalky White in Boardwalk Empire. He’s also made the most of his limited time on the big screen with strong supporting work in movies such as 12 Years a Slave and Gone Baby Gone. Williams has confirmed on twitter that he’ll be adding two high-profile upcoming movies to his filmography with Assassin’s Creed and Ghostbusters.

The 2016 adaption of the hit video game franchise is already set to star Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard. Paul Feig’s 2016 Ghostbusters reboot, meanwhile, is being headlined by Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig just to name a few. While it’s still unclear what role Williams will be playing in Assassin’s Creed, his character in Ghostbusters is said to be named Hawkins. Whoever Williams plays, his involvement in both these pictures only makes us more excited for 2016 to come!
