Miranda Otto joins new 24 spinoff

Just 2 days ago, we reported the news that Straight Outta Compton‘s Corey Hawkins has landed the lead role in the new 24 spin-off, 24: Legacy. And now we know who will be joining Hawkins as according to Variety, Homeland‘s Miranda Otto is confirmed to star alongside him.

Hawkins will play Eric Carter, a heroic military man who gets caught up in the threat of terrorism and so needs help from the Counter Terrorism Unit. Otto is playing one of the people who helps him, Rebecca Ingram, a former head of CTU who swapped her agency lifestyle for marriage to a US Senator.

24: Legacy will be overseen and produced by its original team and will begin shooting soon.
