Angela Lansbury is rumoured to be joining fellow British acting legend Jim Broadbent on the cast of Game of Thrones season 7. The Murder, She Wrote star will feature in two episodes, according to a report from German news website Bild. The National Enquirer has added to the story, suggesting Diana Rigg (Lady Olenna Tyrell) recommended Lansbury to the show’s producers.

It’s certainly got us excited. We just hope that 90-year-old Lansbury will get the chance to go full Jessica Fletcher with her appearances, though. After all, there won’t be any shortage of murders to investigate! Now who wouldn’t want to see that?
