Natalie Dormer is keen on a Hunger Games prequel

Natalie Dormer, star of The Hunger Games, has revealed that she is open to doing more films in the franchise.

Lionsgate vice chairman Michael Burns announced recently that there’s a strong possibility that the franchise will “live on and on and on” with prequels. And Dormer, who plays Cressida is keen on featuring.

Although Dormer would only be interested if the same writer, Suzanne Collins pens the script “I adore Suzanne Collins for her bravery and her imagination, and everything that is the success of The Hunger Games, the genesis, it all comes from Suzanne,” Dormer told Entertainment Weekly.

“But anything – prequel, sequel, whatever – would have to come from her and her penmanship. So the minute I know that Suzanne is writing something, then yes, my ears would prick up. Almost definitely.”

Dormer may be interested but it’ll be a struggle to get Jennifer Lawrence to return after she recently expressed her disapproval of the proposed prequel.
