Netflix has cancelled House of Cards. The series will officially end after its upcoming sixth season.

Empire pointed out that the political drama’s sudden cancellation is likely linked to the allegations that Kevin Spacey made unwanted sexual advances towards Anthony Rapp in 1986. Rapp was only 14 at the time and can currently be seen on Star Trek: Discovery.

Spacey responded to these allegations on Twitter:

The final 13 House of Cards episodes are set to premiere in 2018.
