Recently, filming got underway for the Avengers: Infinity War sequel and its final showdown. Now new set photos have leaked from the shoot in Atlanta, Georgia, and they reveal a Tokyo, Japan setting.

In the photos, we see extras waking along busy streets with big colourful Japanese signs around them. This proves that part of Avengers 4 will take place in Japan, which is no huge surprise, following rumored casting calls for Japanese gangsters, and rumors that Black Widow will also appear in these scenes. Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters first on May 4th, 2018. The film’s synopsis reads:

“As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.”

Avengers 4 then arrives on 3rd May 2019.
