In a deleted scene from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, it’s revealed that Ezra Miller’s Credence Barebone survived and hopped aboard the same boat as Newt Scamander. This sparked a few fan theories about the future of both Newt and Credence.

A popular theory on Reddit reads, “Newt will save Credence from his Obscurus. Since Credence helped Mary Lou print all those flyers and pamphlets for the Second Salemers. I predict that he will go into publishing and publishes Newt’s book.”

A recent tweet seems to back this up, revealing that Obscurus Books published Newt’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2 hits theaters on November 16, 2018.
