Next Bond film could be delayed to fit around Daniel Craig’s schedule

Just recently we reported that Daniel Craig would most likely be leaving the James Bond franchise after signing up to star in new US TV show Purity. However MGM Studios are reportedly doing whatever they can to keep Craig on board and that may mean delaying the next Bond film by a year to work around his busy schedule.

A source told The Sun: “Daniel leaving the franchise at this moment is something MGM cannot stomach. They know he wants to do Purity and had hoped to get the new film in cinemas next year, but they have vowed to push it back a year to help make his schedule easier.”

Craig last year dramatically hinted that he was ready to leave Bond behind, saying in an interview: ‘I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists. No, not at the moment. Not at all. That’s fine. We’re done. All I want to do is move on.’ But with MGM’s desperate attempts to keep Craig, he may now be tempted to stay.
