Nintendo will release a film in the near future
After a long absence, Nintendo are set to get back into the film business.
1993’s live-action movie, Super Mario Bros was a huge flop but according to Nintendo Life, the new films will either be hand-drawn or computer animated.
Nintendo CEO Tatsumi Kimishima revealed the news and said that the first film shouldn’t take longer than five years to release.
It’s yet to be announced which gaming franchise they’ll choose but Mario, Donkey Kong or Zelda are the most likely.
Nintendo are in talks with outside partners to help the project along and we can expect more updates soon.
