Original Ghostbuster Dan Aykroyd says new Ghostbusters is funnier and scarier than originals

Dan Aykroyd has said via his Facebook page that, having seen a test screening of the new Ghostbusters: “Apart from brilliant, genuine performances from the cast both female and male, it has more laughs and more scares than the first 2 films”. High praise then from Aykroyd who played Dr. Raymond Stantz in those original movies.

It’s nice to see him defending the movie, which has come under a barrage of criticism based purely on its rather lacklustre trailers, but it is worth noting that he is listed as an executive producer on the movie.
