According to Tracking-Board, Paramount Pictures will remake their classic Biblical epic The Ten Commandments.
Producers Mary Parent and Cale Boyter are on board through Disruption Entertainment; the company who previously produced Darren Aronofsky’s Noah.
Much like the 1956 classic, The film will chronicle the Exodus story, in which Moses leads the Hebrews out of Egypt to freedom from the tyrannical rule of its Pharaoh.
The studio is said to be seeking out a writer-director who’s interested in delivering a slightly different take on the iconic Biblical story.
