Patricia Arquette joins the cast of Toy Story 4

Many of you may still be bemoaning the fact that Toy Story 4 is getting made, despite the upcoming sequel being helmed by the same talented, cautious team who brought the original trilogy to life. With Patricia Arquette boarding the project, we now have the first true sign that this movie could actually turn out great.

According to The Wrap, Arquette will be lending her voice talents to ‘a laid-back mom who’s described as a hippe.’ Although Disney have so far declined to comment on the actor signing up (who is now also a recent Oscar-winner), insiders are fairly certain that the news is true.

Toy Story 4 is set to be directed by Pixar favourite John Lasseter, and both Tom Hanks and Tim Allen are reprising their roles as Woody and Buzz Lightyear. It’ll be released June 15, 2018.
