Pee-wee Herman’s next film to be released on Netflix?

Netflix have had a very plentiful year. With epic new series Marco Polo now streaming, and with multiple shows planned for the next few years with Marvel, the online TV and movie site have arguably become a core competitor in the industry. Another string to their bow could possibly be the next Pee-wee Herman movie. Following the addition of Pee-wee’s Playhouse to the streaming service earlier in the month, there is news (via The Wrap) that the next movie will be released – potentially exclusively – on Netflix. From a script devised by star Paul Reubens, shooting on the film begins next year, and will join the previous two films (the first, Pee-wee’s Big Adventure, coincidentally being Tim Burton’s first feature).
