Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales Gets New Release Date
As you might have heard already, the release date for Star Wars: Episode VIII has been pushed back to December 15, 2017. According to Disney Insider, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales will now take Star Wars’ original release date on May 26, 2017.
The fifth film in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise will see the return of Johnny Deep as Captain Jack Sparrow, Orlando Bloom as Will Turner, and Geoffrey Rush as Captain Barbossa. Directors Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg are also set to helm the project. The plot will center on Jack trying to uncover Poseidon’s trident.
