Robert Downey Jr. has revealed that audiences have responded “very well” to early screenings for Spider-Man: Homecoming,
Downey Jr. plays Iron Man in the film and in a recent Facebook Live event, he spoke of the positive reactions to early screenings, stating that audiences have rated it “10 out of 10”:
“This Homecoming thing turned out very well… People have been starting early screenings of Spider-Man: Homecoming, and they say it’s absolutely a 10 out of 10. I certainly enjoyed participating in it, and I think this will be one of the big Summer hits. Anyway, these L.A. premieres are usually pretty fun.” he said.

Downey Jr. stars alongside Tom Holland, who is the latest actor to don the Spidey suit. We’re still awaiting reactions from critics, although Oscar host Jimmy Kimmel has seen it and says “it is easily the best Spider-Man movie.”
We can tell if he’s right when Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into theaters on July 7th.
