Power Rangers fans call trailer “too dark and serious”

The first trailer for the new Power Rangers reboot landed over the weekend but many fans have labelled the tone as “too dark and serious”.

The film stars the likes of Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Banks, Naomi Scott and tells the story of a group of high-school kids, who are infused with unique superpowers and harness their abilities in order to save the world.
