FOX is planning to remake the original 1987 Arnold Schwarzenegger-starring classic action movie Predator. THR reports that Shane Black (Iron Man 3, Lethal Weapon, The Long Kiss Goodnight) is being called upon to write the treatment and direct, and very interestingly that he actually starred in the original as “Hawkins”. Fred Dekker, who co-wrote 1987’s Monster Squad with Black, will take on the official scripting duties.
