Ridley Scott’s sequel to Prometheus has reportedly had its name changed from Alien: Paradise Lost to Alien: Covenant. The news comes via Indiewire, who report that Scott referred to the sequel with the new name when discussing it at the AFI Film Festival.
Whether this means that the plot has changed at all is an interesting question; it also follows recent news that Neill Blomkamp’s Alien 5 has been put on hold and Scott’s comments that Prometheus‘s sequels will come back to the first Alien movie and reveal who actually created the Aliens.
