Rachel McAdams, who most recently appeared in Southpaw and HBO’s second season of True Detective, has confirmed that she will star in Marvel’s Doctor Strange according to TheWrap.
McAdams’ role in the film is still unknown. However, it has been confirmed that Benedict Cumberbatch will be playing Doctor Strange, Chiwetel Ejiofor will play Baron Mordo, and Tilda Swinton will play the Ancient One in this Scott Derrickson-directed film. Fingers crossed that the Mads Mikkelsen rumor is also true.
Doctor Strange begins filming in November and is set to release on November 4th, 2016.
