Robin Wright Joins Blade Runner 2
Robin Wright, who can be currently seen as the cold, calculating Claire Underwood on Netflix’s House of Cards, is set to join the cast of the Blade Runner followup.
According to Variety, Wright is in final negotiations for the film. Blade Runner 2 is already set to star Harrison Ford, who will reprise his role as Rick Deckard, and Ryan Gosling.
It’s currently unknown who Wright would play in the sequel. The actress already has a busy lineup of projects, however, with Wonder Woman on the horizon.
Directed by Denis Villeneuve, Blade Runner 2 begins filming in July and is currently set to come out on January 12, 2018.
