Ron Howard recently took over directing duties for the Star Wars Han Solo spin-off and has now shared a first image from the set.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t give much away as Howard states it is “the most revealing image I dare share”. Check it out below via the director’s Twitter:
Cool scene today but I'm afraid this is the most revealing image I dare share from my 1st day on the set of the Untitled Han Solo movie pic.twitter.com/RB15lG7FGE

There’s not really much we can say about this photo, other than nice sneakers Ron. Hopefully we’ll get some more interesting images as the shoot goes on. Oh and a title would be nice too!
Howard took over from Chris Miller and Phil Lord, who were fired by LucasFilm for “creative differences”. Meanwhile, leading star Alden Ehrenreich is also thought to have struggled, as an acting coach was reportedly hired late into production. The film’s editor has also been fired in the process, but other than that it all looks positive for the potentially doomed Han Solo movie.
It’s scheduled for release in May 2018.
