Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon will produce a Nicktoons movie with director Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite, Nacho Libre) to helm, reports Deadline.
The film will blend live action with character appearances from popular Nickelodeon series, including The Ren and Stimpy Show, Rocko’s Modern Life, and Rugrats.
Deadline reports that Hess will also write the script with his wife and frequent co-writer, Jerusha Hess. Production is expected to begin very soon.
