Although it’s been confirmed that Tom Holland will make his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War, it’s yet to be revealed how the iconic web-slinger will be introduced. Will he be teaming with Captain America or Iron Man? How much screen time will he have? We haven’t even seen a picture of Spidey yet!
Geek.com has potentially uncovered a major detail about Spider-Man’s role in Civil War. They say that Peter Parker may team up with Tony Stark, aka Iron Man.
“Peter started becoming Spidey because he grew up and idolized Tony,” a source close to the film informed the website.
Marvel has yet to confirm anything regarding this rumor. In any case, Captain America: Civil War will hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
