Willem Dafoe, who previously played the Green Goblin in the Spider-Man movies, recently landed a role in Justice League. It’s unknown who the actor will be playing, although a new rumor suggests that he may be an Atlantean.

For those unfamiliar with the comics, Atlanteans inhabit Aquaman’s kingdom of Atlantis. And no, they are NOT mermen!
Justice League Part One comes out on November 17, 2017 and Aquaman hits theaters on July 27, 2018.
