Ryan Gosling and Damien Chazelle to re-team for Neil Armstrong biopic
After charming audiences together in this year’s hot Oscar hopeful La La Land, writer-director Damien Chazelle and his star Ryan Gosling are set to team up again for a very different project. The duo are set to work together on First Man, a biopic of Neil Armstrong, the legendary astronaut who was the first man to land on the moon. (via Variety)
The project has been in development for some time but with Gosling and Chazelle now set to be involved, it seems that production could start early next year. Josh Singer, the Oscar-winning writer who co-wrote last year’s Spotlight has written the screenplay for the film and will mark the first time that Chazelle has worked on material he hasn’t created himself.
