Ryan Reynolds has announced that he will never play another comic book character again unless it’s Marvel’s Deadpool.

Reynolds told IGN “I never want to play another comic book character again; Deadpool, I would like to play for the rest of my life – that’d be fun.”

The Canadian actor starred in 2011’s Green Lantern which massively flopped and so he doesn’t have any intention of returning to that role or any new superhero roles for that matter “I’ve done a number of them, and I think it’s time for other people to do them now. You’ve got to share the wealth on that one.” he said.

Warner Bros. is currently planning a Green Lantern reboot but it doesn’t look like Reynolds will be on board for this one.
