Sam Smith’s Spectre Theme Released

Earlier this month, it was confirmed that Sam Smith would be singing and co-writing the highly anticipated theme for Spectre, Writing’s on the Wall. Making its debut on September 25th, the song has been released on Spotify and iTunes. Check it out below:

All in all, it’s a classy and elegant Bond theme. Compared to Adele’s Oscar-winning Skyfall and the other songs that have made up this franchise’s rich legacy of music, however, Writing’s on the Wall sounds kind of forgettable and one-note. Hopefully it’ll play better when we see Spectre in its entirety on November 6th.
