Scarlett Johansson weighs in on the possibility of a Black Widow movie

Speaking at a press conference in London earlier today for Avengers: Age of Ultron, Scarlett Johansson weighed in on the possibility of a solo Black Widow movie down the line. Here’s what she had to say:

‘I think one of the qualities in Black Widow that I love… is that when she’s put in the work, and she’s at a place where’s she’s able to do something for herself… there’s this greater calling that’s pulling her and she selflessly chooses that. [And as Black Widow] she’s a very slippery fish. But when you get her, when she’s Natasha, she’s herself – which is cool. A Black Widow movie? That would be cool to get the catsuit back on.’

Not a wealth of information here – but it’s great to know that Johansson is totally up for a solo Black Widow movie. But with all of Phase Three mapped out, we’ll have to wait until after 2020 for Phase Four – if there will be a Phase Four – to find out.
