Seth Grahame-Smith to Direct The Flash

Seth Grahame-Smith, the author of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, will make his feature-length directorial debut with The Flash. The Hollywood Reporter announced that Grahame-Smith is also in negotiations to write the superhero flick, which will be set in the DC Cinematic Universe.

Phil Lord and Christopher Miller wrote the treatment for the film, but have decided to direct the standalone Han Solo prequel instead. It should also be noted that Grahame-Smith is also writing The Lego Batman Movie, which Lord and Miller are producing.

The question that’s on all of our minds is what will ultimately be more successful: the DC Cinematic Universe or DC Television Universe.
