Shortlist Revealed for Han Solo Actors in Star Wars Spinoff

The Star Wars galaxy is expanding with a cinematic universe. In addition to Episode VII and Episode IX, Disney is developing a standalone movie about Han Solo’s origins.

Variety recently posted a shortlist of actors who are being considered to play the scruffy-looking Nerf herder. Among the names are Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Dave Franco, Jack Reynor, Scott Eastwood, Logan Lerman, Emory Cohen, and Blake Jenner. In addition to this spinoff film, the young Han Solo may also appear in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

The role of Han Solo should be cast within the following weeks and the film is currently set to come out on May 25, 2018.
