Silent Hills in Real Life Part 2 released

Back in March of this year we ran a story on how a short film adaptation of Konami’s cancelled P.T./Silent Hills – Silent Hills P.T. in real life – might well be the best video game to film adaptation yet? Turns out the team (Oddest of the Odd) weren’t quite done yet with their adaptation, and have now returned with part 2, which you can watch above.

The film, replete with a not-so-subtle message to Konami, is clearly a labour of love for OOTO. It’s also a triumph; impressively adapting the source material even further this time. And with more recent game to film adaptations such as Assassin’s Creed disappointing, we ask the question again: is this the best video game to film adaptation yet? We certainly think so. Well done to all of those involved. A bright future beckons.
