Spider-Man rumoured to appear in Marvel Universe

For years, audiences have come to accept that the worlds of Spider-Man and other Marvel characters would never cross over. Thanks to rights owned by Sony for Spider-Man, it would be a rare occurrence indeed for two huge studios – the other one being Marvel Studios – to join forces. New rumours suggest that the cogs are finally turning in that favour, however; early reports are that The Amazing Spider-Man franchise, starring Andrew Garfield, may cross over with the Marvel Cinematic Universe (Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and so on). ‘I would love that’, Garfield has said before when asked about his Spidey turning up beside other Marvel heroes. ‘The more the merrier.’ Of course, this is all mainly speculation at this point – but it makes sense that the two studios should reach an agreement for our mutual superhero satisfaction.
