Stan Lee and Black Panther pictured together
Marvel legend Stan Lee has shared an image of himself with Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman. The comic-book creator, who is now 94, was spending time with Boseman, who plays King T’Challa aka Black Panther, in the upcoming movie.
As per usual, Lee is expected to make a cameo in the film, and he’s thrilled to see his 1966 creation come to the big screen for the first time, as he praised Boseman with an adorable tweet:
The film’s synopsis reads:
After the events of Captain America: Civil War, King T’Challa returns home to the reclusive, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to serve as his country’s new leader. However, T’Challa soon finds that he is challenged for the throne from factions within his own country. When two foes conspire to destroy Wakanda, the hero known as Black Panther must team up with C.I.A. agent Everett K. Ross and members of the Dora Milaje, Wakandan special forces, to prevent Wakanda from being dragged into a world war.
Creed’s Ryan Coogler is at the helm, with Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis and Martin Freeman joining Chadwick in the cast. Black Panther hits theaters on February 16, 2018. Chadwick also stars in Avengers: Infinity War, which arrives on May 4, 2018.
