Legendary comic-book creator, Stan Lee, is set to appear in the next 3 Marvel movies: Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Spider-Man: Homecoming. The news comes by way of a rather excellent interview that Lee did with Breakfast Television, which you can watch below. The 93 year old has already filmed all three slots, and jokes when asked if he is the one who decides what each role will be that, “If I was deciding, it would be a half-hour role. They only give me a few seconds,” before going on to jest that “they’re afraid I’ll overshadow the star.”

It’s rather lovely to hear Stan Lee’s stories and wit all on display in this video, so go ahead and take a watch:

About Theo Pape

Theo Pape grew up on great movies, created Flickreel, and serves as its Editor-in-chief. He remembers vividly the moment his mind was blown as he witnessed Kevin Costner and Morgan Freeman being catapulted over a castle wall when he was a child.
