Star Trek 3 release date announced

Star Trek 3 will be released in theatres on July 8, 2016, Paramount Pictures has just announced. This date marks the 50th anniversary of the Star Trek TV show. In earlier news, Justin Lin was announced as the director for Star Trek 3, after Roberto Orci confirmed he was no longer helming the project.
