Star Wars: The Force Awakens has overtaken Titanic to become the second-highest grossing domestic film of all-time.
Box Office Mojo, which reports box office totals for the majority of films across the globe, currently places The Force Awakens at over $740 million in the US. It’s now within striking distance of Avatar, which tops the list at just over $760 million.
The Force Awakens has already broken records and as it’s still early days for the latest episode in the Star Wars saga, it’s almost certainly expected to continue its rise and become the highest grossing film of all time.
