Star Wars Wins at Visual Effects Society Awards

The Visual Effects Society has granted Star Wars: The Force Awakens a total of four awards, including Outstanding Visual Effects in a Photoreal Feature. Meanwhile, The Revenant won three awards while Mad Max: Fury Road only took home one.

The Force Awakens was left out of the Best Picture category at the Academy Awards, but could this development mean its the new Oscar front-runner for Best Visual Effects?
