Tarantino to shoot The Hateful Eight in December

After the project was called off earlier this year thanks to script leakage, Quentin Tarantino will finally begin shooting The Hateful Eight on December 8. The entire movie will be shot in Colorado, on 70mm, on a $44 million budget. A post-Civil war Western, The Hateful Eight follows a group of characters who seek shelter from a snowstorm; inside, their personalities are primed for betrayal, deception, and general disagreement. Names attached so far include Kurt Russell, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Madsen and Jennifer Lawrence (but none confirmed), with a release set for a year later in December 2015.
